Priced at a new price point of £244.66 inc VAT it has a simple pass through at the rear allowing it to accept an input signal, and then pass it straight out un attenuated for your pre/integrated to power your speakers.
First seen at Heathrow March 2009 the Novo in its smaller (less deep) case is a true winner.
Featuring a new outboard Green energy efficient Switch Mode power supply, complying to the latest and the yet to be introduced European Regulations you can be assured you have an efficient and superb sounding discrete headphone amplifier to run just about all the headphone (not electrostatic) currently on the market.
With the launch of the larger and more expensive Solo SRG II replacing the highly popular Solo MC, Graham has been able to tweak the Novo to levels of performance unheard of at this price.
In our tests now ongoing for the last few month we have really come to understand just how good this little headphone amplifier is. So if you like headphones and want to hear you usic at its bet, ask for demo on one of these new units, and make sure you have the money ready as we know you'll want it.
What Hi-Fi summed up "...performance has to be the most important factor, making this test-express a head to head between the Lehmann and the Graham Slee - and for us it has to be the Novo... If you're after a headphone amplifier that involves you every step of the way, then the Novo is the one for you" (What HiFi? April 2009)
