Graham Slees' top
line phono pre amp the Revelation, features for the first time both TRS true balanced
and RCA single ended outputs.
As with the Jazz Club/Era Gold phono stages the Revelation shares a circuit with its std RIAA EQ brethren, the Reflex. The other phono stage that is setting a new standard in vinyl replay. The only difference being its multi EQ functionality.
With a selection of 15 different equalization characteristics, the Revelation will reproduce the sound from virtually any historical or contemporary recording, with skin tingling nostalgia. People may ask why do you need these, well a quick look at Grahams web site at the multitude of EQ curves, used by recording engineers to cut the blanks when starting the vinyl chain, makes you realise not all records are recorded the same. In fact pre RIAA and for many years after its inception, recording sound completely different to that intended unless the correct equalisation is applied on playback.
