With the familiar three corner set up the Solid One
offers the refinements of the Royal in a slightly simplified design.
Available with extra arm mounts, as with the Solid Small, Solid Machine and Royal, the Solid One offers the user the option to have arm/cartridge combinations optimised for different playback mediums. A prefect example being a mono cartridge for earlier recordings in your collection, yet your preferred arm/cart combination for normal more recent stereo pressings. The use of two or more arms on a deck once experienced is something like discovering mobile phones.
Suitable for up to three tonearm's.
With the build quality and workmanship to be proud
of, the Solid One is a real statement from the Wirth family in economic
design and excellence in manufacture. Playback is sublime, with even
tonal balances throughout. Forget the "coloured" classics old timers
talk about. The new breed of turntables offered by Acoustic Solid and
others have brought vinyl replay into the 21st century.
