We at HIAudio offered a world first for a review for the original SE Mono Block to Hi Fi World editor David Price, He loved them, a genuine 5 globe product. He then upgraded to the V2 and loved them even more.
Upgrades from earlier amplifiers without the Eichmann RCA input cannot be upgraded due to different size and shape of chassis fitting.

The upgrades add refinement and delicacy to the already excellent-sounding Ref 9. The tonal balance remains unaltered leaving a very neutral clean and powerful amplifier to fit at the back end of your system.
Upgrades: NuForce offer an upgrade path for all Ref 8.5/9 owners to full SE specification.
