Based on technology NuForce developed for the Reference 9 V2 amplifier, the MCH-3 stands as the perfect marriage of home theatre and music and cost. The highly praised wand remote, first introduced with the P-9 preamp is standard across the MCH-3 range and allows the user to switch off the unit’s home-theatre channels in order to optimise two-channel listening. Among the MCH-3’s features is a program that performs a diagnostic drill every time the unit is powered up. Unlike linear amplifiers, which, even at idle, consume a great deal of power, the power-conservative Nuforce MCH Series provides instantaneous clout when and where it’s required. The MCH-3 offers a power reserve of 1200 watts; in effect, any of seven channels can be driven up to 300 watts into 4 ohms so long as total power requirements do not exceed 1200 watts.
All models in the MCH Series feature XLR inputs along with RCA inputs which can be individually trimmed for precise channel matching as well as proprietary five-way binding posts with extremely low insertion loss.
