Icon HDP
Class A Headphone Amp, 192/24 DAC, Pre Amplifier

With the Icon HDP from NuForce you know you have arrived at your destination.

You have convenience, style, and class leading sound in one very small efficient and design.

Lets start at the beginning. From your digital source you can choose from its 3 inputs. It is capable of 192khz/24bit with its coaxial input, or you have 92khz /24bit via its optical or usb input. (A usb 2.0 source needed for 92/24).

Once connected you have two choices, headphones or speakers, if its headphones then stop you have all you need. If its speakers, then connect two RCA signal cables to your power amplifier and off you go.

The Icon HDP has a high quality pre amplifier circuit built in with volume control.

With a analogue input as well this could work as a superb desktop pre for your amplifier system, which could of course be the all new Icon Amplifier (available April 2010)

Off course you can still use the built in headphone amplifier for monitoring, the analogue output is automatically cut when you insert a headphone plug.

The size is so small that it can by used by a screen for a computer or is equally at home by a laptop or in a HiFi rack.

The new uDAC is intended for those who want a fully portable DAC as it uses the USB source for its power.

The Icon HDP comes with its own power supply and cables for attaching to equipment.

First used at Bristol 2010, you the buying public have told us just how good this DAC really is. We knew this testing against various others before coming, but now you know as well.

With the first UK review out from Dominic Todd, of Hi Fi Choice who also works for a company associated with Cambridge Audio who sell the rival magic DAC, if he thinks its better then you can guarantee it will be.

With more reviews coming and editors saying we should charge £500 for this you know if you have one you have an bargain that you will cherish for years to come, its that good.

So call know for information on where to buy or call up your favourite retailer and ask then to get you one now. At its UK of £345 you know this will carry you forward for years to come without hurting your wallet.
